This Carbon Reduction Plan has been prepared in accordance with Procurement Policy Note 06/21 (PPN 006) and the published Technical Standard for the Completion of Carbon Reduction Plans, and is signed by a director of Invictus Ventures Ltd to demonstrate our commitment to emissions reduction at the highest level.
Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Invictus Ventures Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse-gas emissions across our UK operations by 2050.
We recognise that climate change represents a material risk to our employees, customers, suppliers and the communities we serve, and that the financial-services sector has a particular role to play in enabling the transition to a low-carbon economy. Our Net Zero ambition is integrated into our business strategy, operational planning, supplier engagement and product roadmap.
Baseline emissions footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

This baseline year is the earliest period for which Invictus Ventures Ltd has reported a complete Scope 1, Scope 2 and qualifying Scope 3 emissions inventory in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Emissions have been estimated using the UK Government Greenhouse Gas Conversion Factors for Company Reporting.
Invictus Ventures Ltd operates from a small office environment with a predominantly remote and hybrid workforce. Scope 1 emissions are minimal as the company does not operate a company-owned vehicle fleet or gas-heated office estate. Scope 2 emissions relate primarily to electricity consumption within office operations. Scope 3 emissions include business travel, employee commuting, remote working allocation, waste generated in operations and limited transportation activities.

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress towards achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon-reduction targets.
We project that our total carbon emissions will decrease from 8.5 tCO2e in our baseline year to 2.0 tCO2e by 2035. This represents an approximate 76% absolute reduction against the FY2024/25 baseline.

Carbon reduction projects
Completed carbon-reduction initiatives
The following environmental-management measures and projects have been implemented since the baseline year. These measures will remain in effect during the performance of the contract.
These initiatives are estimated to have contributed to a reduction of approximately 1.5 tCO2e compared with the baseline year.

Declaration and sign-off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and the associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate UK Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse-gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions (categories 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9) have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors of Invictus Ventures Ltd on 01 May 2026.
